Morello Cherry Brooch
The cherry tree is a delight in all seasons but especially in summer, when it's hung with a wonderful red fruit. These designs were inspired by a panel decorated with cherries in the Green Dining Room at the Victoria and Albert Museum, designed by the firm Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. in 1886. William Morris was a major influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement, which adopted many of this ideals on the value of hand craftsmanship and the maintaining of truth and honesty in the materials of production.
